Group Sound Therapy Facilitator Training.

Format
The course consists of an intensive 9-day training on-site at our Sound Therapy Centre in Geneva. After the training, you will receive a diploma upon successful completion of 6 hours of supervised case studies.
This course is instructed in English.

This Sound Therapy training will teach you a variety of essential tools for conducting high-quality Sound Baths and Gong Baths.
Tibetan Singing Bowls and Crystal Singing Bowls
You will learn about the history, musical theory, basic and advanced playing techniques, and the science behind Tibetan Singing Bowls and Crystal Singing Bowls.
You will also learn how to combine them to create powerful therapy spaces.
Gongs
You will learn about the history, musical theory, basic and advanced playing techniques, and the science behind gongs.
You will also learn how to use gongs to release blocked energies in the body and mind.
Drum and Voice
You will learn the basics of chanting and drumming in a sound bath to create a sense of journeying.
Sound bath facilitation A to Z
You will learn:
– How to combine sound instruments in a specific order and understand the reasons behind it
– The dynamics of group facilitation
– Setting up, storing, packing up, timing, room rental, and marketing for group sessions
– Health and safety considerations
– Using your intuition in a group setting
– Building confidence while holding space for others

This Sound Therapy retreat takes place in Geneva, Switzerland, starting on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, at 10 am and finishing on Sunday, February 9th, at 4 pm.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Throughout the training, all necessary instruments for practice such as Tibetan and Crystal singing bowls, drums, gongs, Koshi Bells, and Rainsticks will be provided.
- While not mandatory, it’s recommended that you bring some of your instruments to the training to receive tips and improve your skills.
- Handouts and any digital materials related to the training, teaching fees, support during your case studies upon returning home, and your diploma after completing your case studies are all included.
Please make sure to arrange the following:
– Airplane tickets and airport transfers, as well as any other transportation needed.
– Any instruments required to complete your case studies
– Accommodation and stay arrangements in Geneva. There are various options available, from affordable hostels to luxury hotels. It is advisable to book through websites such as booking.com or Airbnb.com as early as possible to secure better prices and availability.
– Budget for food, snacks, and any other miscellaneous expenses.
You will be trained to play the gongs, but using them for your case studies or to obtain your diploma is optional. This is an additional valuable skill.
